Bruce Beasley (born 1939, in Los Angeles, California) is an American abstract expressionist sculptor born in Los Angeles and currently living and working in Oakland, California. He attended Dartmouth College from 1957–59, and the University of California, Berkeley from 1959-62 where he earned his BA.

His oeuvre, mostly monumental pieces, consists of works in metal, both cast and fabricated, and cast acrylic. Most recently, Beasley has been utilizing 3D printing as rapid prototyping for his most challenging casting projects.

Beasley ranks among the most productive sculptors of the post- Henry Moore/David Smith generation of abstract sculptors. Today, Beasley is recognized as one of the most noteworthy and innovative sculptors on the American West Coast. His work can be found in the permanent collection of 30 art museums around the world, including: Museum of Modern Art in New York City; the Guggenheim Museum, New York City; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; the National Art Museum of China in Beijing; the Musee National d'Art Moderne-Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris; the Smithsonian Museum of American Art in Washington, DC; the Kunsthalle Mannheim in Germany; and the Islamic Museum in Cairo.

CITEA is pleased to welcome Bruce Beasley as its keynote speaker at the 88th CITEA Annual Conference at Laney College in Oakland California.
