Wild Caught! Photon-Rich!…Powering projects with Solar Energy

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Engaging students in purpose-based solar energy projects is empowering and inspirational for all involved. Our recent focus is on designing and building Solar Emergency Preparedness systems for home or school – a small solar module that charges one or more powerbanks for phone charging and powering a light. We’ll share how students are making these systems for their own families and for others without electricity. A related project is to design a communal charging station for school or other community situation. Solar Schoolhouse will share how to integrate these solar service learning projects into your classrooms.
